History of the Hall

Saxlingham Nethergate village hall has been an impressive sight right in the middle of our village for over 100 years. It was funded and donated by the then local landowners, the Steward family, for the benefit of the community. Today, the building sits at the heart of the Conservation area complete with its attractive thatched roof. It houses freshly decorated and well lit spaces inside completed by a recent extension at the rear of the building, The Millenium Room.

At Saxlingham Nethergate Village Hall, we have been the central hub for our village and the surrounding community for 100 years. As a self-funded facility, our hall is a vital asset to our village, available for everyone to use. By renting space, you are playing a key role in sustaining the hall for future generations. Your support is essential for us to continue serving the community.
