Volunteering opportunities

There are many opportunities to give us a helping hand! From offering your skills and experience as a Trustee to supporting us with your time and energy on one (or more!) of the initiatives or events that help to make the hall the centre of the village. In return, we will offer you friendship, camaraderie, fulfilment and, hopefully, some fun, certain in the knowledge that you’ve done something very worthwhile for your community. Everyone is welcome! Fundraising initiatives

If you have a great idea about how you could raise money for the charity then please don’t be shy. It could be a sponsored fun run or a coffee morning with your friends or even something like washing your neighbours’ cars – the only limit is your imagination. Contact us please and let us know your plans!

Donations information

The Hall is a Registered Charity and although it has a Reserve Fund, this is largely allocated to fund necessary upkeep and renewal of the fabric of the building, especially the very special thatched roof. In order to continue to provide the village with a wonderful meeting place for all sorts of activities, the charity needs to raise significant sums every year from hirings and fundraising events to make ends meet. Donations of any size are always extremely welcome.
